Default Long Barrel Lugers

Hi,

Have been trying to look at some pictures of long barrel Lugers in Kenyons book and have a question for all of you on the barrel. The pictures I see of a normal 1920, 1923 commercial all have a "sharpe" barrel band. The pictures in Still's book, "Weimar Lugers", shows the commercial Lugers of the 1920's with sharpe barrel bands. It looks to me like the pictures in Kenyon's "World of Lugers" shows long barrel's of the 1920's with lengths of 6", 8", and longer all with the sharpe barrel band. This would lead me to believe that any long barrel made of this time frame would have a sharpe barrel band and not a rounded barrel band, but this is only speculation on my part. I would be very skeptical of a rounded barrel band on these and was wondering what you thought?
