The Eagle over 6 is an inspection stamp that was used at Simson. Probably a Simson trigger plate on a rework. 1920 is the German property mark during the Wiemar era.
Sounds like it's a mismatched receiver. Do other parts (barrel, small numbered parts) match the frame? There should be a suffix letter under the frame serial number. It's part of the serial as well. Marc
