General question about pairs of #-matching mags

About a year ago I saw a pair 3452o and 3452o + marked mags for sale, but I did not buy them. The seller asked about $250.00 for this pair of mags.

I was hoping that matching-#-mags are more valuable than others and it would be a good idea to buy pairs of mags instead of single mags, if possible. There are alot of Luger mags for sale out there but not a lot of #-matching pairs.
I thought "pairs" are very rare, or aren't they?
