markings 
Has anyone seen these markings before. They are on the righthand side just behind the barrel on a 1921 numbers matching luger.

Yes sir, you have the acceptance and proof marks of the Weimar Republic - quite proper and expected on a 1921 dated Luger Best regards, Kyrie |

Dan, looking at Costanzo's book on page 87 he says these eagles (with straight wings) are the DWM military "Dove of Peace" proof. These models were issued to the special police force guarding military installations. Hope this helps.
