Does acetone effect this finish? I have a, sortta, copy of the 1906 Navy. It shoots low for me, but almost on for others. These are old eyes, and my thought was to paint the front sight with red nail polish. But then what if I don't like it? Maybe I should file the rear sight to a 'U' instead of the V?

Hi:

All of my Interarms' Lugers already have the "U" notch real sight. By the way, for some reason, all of them also shoot low!
