New to Luger

Good evening all,

I have now just joined the ranks of Luger owners. I have very little experience with the Luger other than what I have read here and elsewhere. I wanted to get one to shoot, not to just sit in a safe.

I just purchased a Luger and the info I have been given by previous owner:

Russian Capture (crossed rifles)
DWM Toggle action (did not mfg in 1941)
1941 Slide
Mis-matching numbers
The 3 marks on the slide have been ground off but not completely
One Nazi mark on barrel still visible but very faint
Aftermarket magazine (which has to have the heaviest spring I have ever encountered)
No import marks ( I have taken it all the way down to look/clean)
No electropencil marks/forced matching

I believe from what I have seen the above is true. IHe was asking $475 but picked up for less.
