The plane I soloed in was also a Cessna 150 (square tail), and it later came down in a tobacco field in Virginia after the oil plug fell out because the A&P failed to safety wire it. The airplane flipped when the nosewheel came down and it never flew again - a shame, it was a great airplane. Both occupants walked away luckily.

These days I just get those knock-offs from Cigar Hut online, just about $1.20 each.
