1940 "42" P-08 strange Marking

Do the marks look like this pistol? Perhaps a Russian or East German rebuild...

No, this gun is not a "Russian Capture"; all its Waffenamt stamps are intact and it has no capture marks or other Russian stampings. I'll try to post a photo. Thanks for taking the time and effort to reply!

I have learned that the "sunburst" stamping indicates that the gun had been impressed into the service of the East German Volkspolizei ("VOPO") after the War.
