John, can you post a picture of a firing ping with these three flutes? Or someone else?

John,

There are three flutes, maybe not exactly equally spaced. Also, I found out that the Tikkakoski barrel is actually just 4 3/4 inch or so... Thank you all for your comments!

Interesting pic of the Tikkakoski barrel flange, with the transition being straight rather than curved, like on Luger barrels...I have a Tikkakoski barrel here that has the curved transition from the barrel itself to the flanged section...Maybe there was more than one plant making "Tikkakoski" barrels???

My barrel measures ~ 4 11/16"...
