I would be careful about foam packing. The chemicals used to make some of it will cause rust. A test would be in order before I put a fine firearm alongside it.

I have been using medium density foam, cut to fit, to store my Lugers for over 10 years now. I wipe them down with a silicone cloth every once in a while and have noticed no deleterious effects.
Fred, I bought my foam at a furniture store, now out of business, that did custom upholstery. You might try your local Yellow Pages. Regards, Norm |
