I was toying around with the idea of trading an M1A rifle I have for this Luger but wound up paying cash, which I think will make me happier in the long run.

The serial number is 4974G.

Luckily for me when I showed up today to pay there were a couple of gentlemen there who helped me go over the pistol, disassemble it, etc. With their help I was able to verify that the gun was in fact all matching (other than the mag). Both these guys felt the finish and grips were original, and they seemed to know what they were talking about, in fact it wouldn't surprise me if one or both were members here.

When I get it home I'll disassemble it properly and post decent pics, prolly going to be a week or so.
