Blue over pits makes the appearence worse, not better.
If the rust and pits are on grip only (not uncommon, because wood panel attracts moisture), I don't think they affect shooting. But please note that with all those rust on grip, the main spring on this gun is shiny, looks like a replacement. If this replaced main spring is out of spec, the gun would probably have functional issue. [Side Q: What's the specified parameters of main spring on 9mm Parabellum. Initial tension, how many newtons per centimeter compression, etc?] |
