I'd like to see more pictures, especially the front of the frame, there were 2 variations of the 1937, all blued and strawed; so I am not sure if it is reblued or not.

The sideplate is the most telling of looking reblued, but the edges are fairly sharp and if a reblue, not a bad one.

If not a reblue, you did well, if a reblue, I think a complete 1937 would be still a $750 gun on my table, maybe a bit more.


Also, the 1937 would have an aluminum based magazine, so pick up a DDR (east german) mag for around $60-$70 and it'll look right, yet be a shooter magazine.

Thanks for the input on this, I bought it for $800, so a little high, but the cheapest on I could find. I'll get a a pic of the front of the frame as soon as I get back home. I don't know what entirely a reblue entails, but the front of the frame is pretty worn like it's never been refinished.
