You do need to measure the outside diameter of the muzzle and the overall height from the bottom of the muzzle to the top of the sight to make sure your gun will fit into the tool you are looking at purchasing. I was all set to buy one when I sent those two measurments to Jerry and found out my gun was not compatible. My loss! But it saved me from buying something I could not use.
