Hi Bill, I think you are right. THe gun looks like a 1917 Navy to me, with an Erfurt toggle train. That said, the condition is awful and I don't think it would make economic sense to try to restore it. Remember that , at the end of the day, you would still have a gun that wasn't "right"!
