That's a really odd size serial # on the front of the frame...Looks like a very small 6 large 5? Is that a weird optical illusion or is this the case? Jerry Burney

Jerry, Just another example of "using what you have". The serial numbers on the frame front were said to have been stamped individually. Old "Hans" just didn't have the time, or just didn't want to hunt for smaller fonted 5's as he already had these 5's in hand.

Is the front top of the receiver cut/notched for the rear site?
I thought it should be but can not see it in any of the pictures, might be hidden. Nice gun Vern |
