I will use your facts to check my weapon in the morning...it's locked away in the safe for the night...don't want any old bearded guy in red suit to have an accident! I do believe that it's original finish, at least 80%. Again, I am so gratful to you all for providing such valued info". I'm an elderly WWII type and will certainly return to this remarkable link.
