Last time a Luger was used in a crime?

There was an old guy back in the 90s who killed his wife with a Luger brought back from WWII. She had Alzheimers and its was a "mercy" killing. He went to jail for it . Think it was in Florida.

Charles Whitman was carrying a Luger during his infamous shooting rampage at University of Texas in Austin on August 1st, 1966.
