D-10 is an early Commercial with a Type 1 safety, pretty scarce and in nice shape. 1900 Commercials are much more difficult to find than American Eagles or Swiss. Still, $8K is a tad high IMO. I picked up a 1900 Commercial not too long ago with a bit lower serial number and a little less condition, maybe 95%, for $3000. Not a bad buy but a lot closer to ballpark than $8K.
