That C96 is a little beauty. The cartridge doesn't appear to be bottle-necked so it may be 9mm.

Too small...a 9mm would be ~1/2 the width of the penny...that cartridge is ~1/4 the width...I've never seen a 4mm, but possibly that...or maybe just a home-machined cartridge as well as the pistol...a .22 RF would be logical but maybe not correct in the builders mind...

I don't have a .25ACP on hand, but the little cartridge in the pics looks too slim and long to be .25...
