$4000 hand made Broomhandle

I hope I knew. Looks like being FN no doubt, but I could not identify the year. Some FN cartridges have two digits on the head telling the year ... F N 70, F N 57. Not sure that's a post WWII practice or not, 1957 and 1970?

But what's F N * ?
