Finally !
Thanks for all the kind and generous words guys... be assured you are also on my list of friend "keepers" along with many who may not have seen this posting yet... you know who you are!
I was the one who was "armed" with a camera when John D. and I finally met face to face after MORE than ten years supporting this forum (John D.'s memory is not what it used to be). It was indeed my honor to stop by and finally get to shake hands on my way home returning from the 64th Annual Reunion of the 9th Infantry Division Association in Bangor Maine... what a great place, and a great trip! More about that another time... Below is the actual proof that John D. and I finally met... (He told me that he didn't want his photo publicized... so I photoshopped a generic and more handsome face over his in this photo!  )
