A bit beat ole gal, but like you said all matching including mag.

Built in 1911 by the gov't arsenal, it later received the 1920 gov't reichswehr property stamping. At some point it went into police service, and was issued to the Schutzpolizei (dang, can't rmember, Wiesbaden I think), Don Maus' new book would have it in it.

Then in the mid 1930's it received a police sear and magazine safety; the mag safety was removed a few years later (or made inoperable). The matching magazine is the later aluminum type, it would have originally been issued with a wood based mag bottom.

This is the police safety that prevents the gun from being discharged by pressing on the sear bar when there is a live round in the chamber and the top of the gun has been removed from the grip frame. ONLY on police guns.

you can also contact our member named "Policeluger" and he can repair your takedown lever to look and work like new... but be prepared to wait... he is a might busy man.

I second John's recommendation. Howard (Policeluger) is a master at repairing takedown levers. It is almost like magic.
