After I cleaned them with a little dish soap and a soft toothbrush I used some Chestnut Ridge Supply dark walnut military stock stain on them. There was a lot of staining on the wood that I couldn't get out so I thought dark was the way to go. I put two coats of tung oil on top of it.
The breechblock is numbered 43 and the rest of the gun is numbered 38. Thanks |
