FNorm, sounds like a nice luger. One concern is that you said the take down lever was strawed. If this is true, then (1) other parts, such as the trigger, safety lever, magazine catch and ejector should all be strawed also, and (2) it was very unusual, if not outright not seen, to have strawed parts on such a late Mauser banner. I once owned a banner "41" date with all strawed parts, but this was a commercial gun. It would be nice to post pictures of this luger on the Forum so us folks could get a good "take" on this example.
