Default honest, open, and truthful discussion.

ALCON

I understand full well this is not my forum.

I also understand that I can participate only as a guest and have to live by the whims of the bosses.

But I have one question that will open Pandora’s box.

Why is it when honest, open, and truthful discussion becomes “controversial” in some moderators opinion it is censored?

The moderators remain anonymous.

I would at least like to see the name of one that deleted my post.

Respectfully submitted.

Mike,

I'm not one of the moderators but have moderated several forums for quite a while. What keeps this particular forum a great place is the fact that it maintains high standards and tries to clean up potentially disastrous threads before they go horribly wrong. And I know from experience that some honest, open, and truthful discussions can result in flame wars, personal threats, insults and worse. Especially when certain political viewpoints are being discussed, or like one of the threads that started to creep towards personal insults a while ago. I remember getting into a politically oriented thread several years ago and still regret I the comments I made there.

This is a luger forum and subjects should be as much luger related as possible. There are plenty of more appropriate sites and forums to discuss and ventilate personal opinions about just about everything. At least that's my point of view

MIKE YOU CAN BLAME ME, BUT DEMANDING TO KNOW SOMETHING IS AS BAD MANNERS AS YOU WERE SAYING BEFORE.

IF I ASK ONCE TO STOP SOMETHING, then jeez, back down a bit?

THERE ARE PLACES TO TALK AND THERE ARE PLACES NOT TO TALK, THE TRADER FORUMS ARE OFF LIMITS TO "CHAT". This is not a Free Speech site; CENSORSHIP SOMETIMES COMES INTO PLAY.

This is a luger site.

I BARELY HAVE TIME TO CHECK EVERYTHING AND YOU BEING HARDNOSED CAN CAUSE MORE TROUBLE FOR THE SITE THEN YOU KNOW...

Hello Ed

I did not demand anything.

Just wanted to know who it was.

I was just participating in a discussion as others were.

I also told the thread starter he might get more help if he asked instead of ordered.

I spoke the truth and do not need to apologize for anything.

Please do what you have to do.

The sun will shine on me or the rain will rain on me if I am a member or not.

I started defending our American Freedoms over 39 years ago and still am doing it in the National Guard.

I always have been particularly interested in the First and Second Amendments’.

I guess if your skin is that thin you had better remove me for good then.

Best regards.

Mike Dunham

P.S. How long will you let this post stay before you pull it?

Looks like this has just been a "failure to communicate" as Cool Hand Luke would say...

No harm has been done. Just don't chat in the For Sale forums... easy enough...General Discussions is where chat not related to Lugers is supposed to take place...

Thanks to all concerned. Now will everyone please chill out.

No John, I was not kidding. I did not have a failure to communicate and Mike purposely disregarded my asking him to quit. I also do not apprecaite being told to "chill out", when he was disregarding a moderator telling him to quit on the trader board, then re-bringing it up here.

Mike is banned.

I also don't apprecaite that he ensured that he copied the original posting which was more harsh than I meant; and that I toned down.

Hello Postino

Great pictures.

My 18th birthday was at ITR.

We were both kids once.
