Chris -

Perhaps someone will have some ideas as to why your trigger is so firm. That definitely is not normal. I assume you have already cleaned all the associated parts?

A simple "fix" that I have used on dozens of handguns is simply to spray silicone on all the moving parts associated with the trigger. Very often this will work miracles, and I would certainly try this before you invest in any replacement parts, etc.
