Can you guys Identify this Luger?

John, Welcome to the Luger Forum. Your information is too sketchy to tell much. It is a DWM..or appears to be. Military or I think I can see acceptance stamps on the right rail.

Other than that there is just no way to know...1881 may have been imprinted on the pistol and that would have to have been the serial #. Likely the date was over the chamber but that would have had to be between 1910-1918 unless it was 1920 or 1921 or there are some other possibilities. Slight tho they are.

I'm sorry, if can't tell already I'm fairly new to this can you please explain what is DWM. Also, do you think there is any website or other place where I can use the serial number to trace it back? Thank you for your time and help.
