This is a good tip for all owners of Post-War Mauser Parabellum pistols:

'Don't use the magazines that came with them!!!!'

The bottom pieces are fragile and WILL break during extended use. Find a good MecGar for shooting and use that one instead.

ps: If someone is confronted with a fractured bottom piece, take out the magazine spring and check the follower insert (a metal guide that keeps the magazine spring in place, roughly the size of a 9mm case). There is a good chance that your magazine follower insert is actually a 9x19mm case!
