Inquiring minds want to know! best to you, til....lat'r...GT BTW, I also really like the bullet shape... is there a mold available that casts that bullet shape for the handloader guys... ??

GT, the COL is 1.150". I have never seen a lead bullet mold for the .30 Luger though many years ago a member of our club had a Corbin Swage die for making .30 Luger and Mauser bullets. He died and his wife wasted no time "getting rid of his junk." Sad.

Hi GT

I had assumed it to have a length of 1.15 (29.2mm) as per the correct length of the original DWM 9mm round as well. I bet you the flat point of the bullet is the same as the 9mm, too.

I have the original DWM drawing of the bullet if you would like a copy. Noel and I were going to have a mold made, but never found the time.

The grove diameter of the German 7.65 barrels is .311 to .312, so .308 to .309 bullets are really a bit to small for the bore.

Now for the good news!!

Yes, Lee has a T.C. bullet mold for a 32 acp in .311 in, I believe, 90 grain configuration. This diameter should work just fine as molded (don't forget to use a 32 caliber expander die, however).

Better yet, Hornady will sell you all of the .314 diameter, lead, T.C. bullets you want. These would still probably work fine, depending on the chamber tightness of the particular pistol involved.
