Since you are asking for advice and/or opinions, I am going to give you mine. This is a very valuable gun with the accessories that go with it. I would not be in a big rush to sell it, until you find out a lot more about it, as you are now doing. I think it helps to think of "value" in terms of wholesale and retail value. Naturally, collectors will want to try to purchase a high end collectable such as this at a lower price. And naturally a dealer, such as Simpson Ltd. will want to charge a higher or retail price when they sell it, and a lower retail price when they buy it. The challenge is to find out what these low and high prices are for something like this. And the higher the value, the fewer people there will be who will be able to actually afford it, or who will be willing to pay that higher or retail price. In the end it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. But I think all of us will tell you that it is a very valuable rig.
