I don't know about his guns but he was a railroad engineer who was released for color blindness and settled in the Honduras (Central America). He was a mercenary around the turn of the century and became an aid to a government official there. He served in that capacity for several decades and married a Honduran woman. I am not sure what ever became of him. There are several books written about his exploits but I have not read them and it would be interesting to find a picture of him with his weapons.
