There is not a specific rf chart, but if you give us full serial number and suffix, Frank might know an approx date.... I think they made over 100,000 byf 42's, so low number is how you look at it, as they made around the same number of byf 41's, etc.... Ed

Thank You the forum has been a great source
Where do I find the full serial number? I am guessing this is the last of the Mauser Lugers. I got this one for $500 the dealer was selling three the one for 1200 had matching holster tool and clip. now I am thinking I should have snapped that one up when I had the chance. It was my first big gun show with a pistol license I did not want to buy on the first pass through the dealer room. |
