A new guy question

Thanks guys...........I will try each of your methods to find what seems easiest...lol
But I am glad to hear that what I saw was not wear!

Really appreciate it! Range in town is open Thursday. I will see how it works out.........The last thing I have to do is center the front sight.....it is way off to the left. ( hopefully the past owner did not set it there for a reason)
I assume that light tapping with a wooden peg will do it???
