John,
I didn't know you had family over there, sure didn't intent to slight anyone, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has family overseas I'm sure its especially hard during the Christmas season. In reading the letter written 90 years ago the thoughts and feelings still ring true today. Jim

We spent Christmas last year with our daughter-in-law in Iraq for her 2nd tour. It was not easy on us, but worse on them.
I hope/pray this is the last year we have our servicemen/women in active combat there. Especially the Mid East.......it is almost a worthless cause to risk our soldiers for. I would like to see Obama make a stop for the soldiers on the front line this year. |
