Kevin let me add my congrats and welcome to the Luger forum.
I am not only interested in the Luger, but very much so in the vet who brought it home as my father was also part of the North Africa invasion. If you are acquainted with the family of the vet, could you please inquire as to what his unit was during this campaign? My father was part of the 39th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. Thanks in advance.
