Obs,
Your post ended up in the "for sale" section of the forum and perhaps one of the moderators will move it to the "military P08" section. Photos would help. The serial number is not necessarily four digits long. Imperial lugers were manufactured in blocks of 10,000 with a letter designation for each block (a, b, c, etc.). The complete serial number is on the frame below the barrel. One possibility is that your Luger is #38 of "o" block (not 0038 just 38). If it is a 1918 matching gun that would make it an erfurt since there was no "o" block that year for DWM. KFS |
