I wanted to add my .02 worth on this. I agree with you that there is a lot of controversy about matching magazines and I see nothing wrong with it, but there are those that do and I think we should follow your suggestion. My feeling is that a magazine can be correctly matched to a particular pistol and it would be the magazine that went with that pistol. The odds of this happening is almost like a needle in a haystack, but it does happen. Your suggestion will keep everything straight!
