TAC, I believe I was chased by the same Moose Cow in 1985 when visiting Fort Richardson...I got too close to her calf while taking photos... My last photo is of the mother beginning her charge toward me... Once moving they are like a freight train... FAST but not nimble... I was able to escape by side stepping her charge and ducking into a building... She eventually gathered her calf and moved on...
