I'm very new at collecting Lugers. I owned one mismatched one many years ago and sold it. Now I'm looking to get back to start over again.
This one came up on Gunbroker and I was wondering what you guys think the value should be. Gunbroker Ad Thanks for your help. Luger Noob |

Russian grips so probably a Russian/East German rework-reblue. Bore looks great, should be a good shooter. Hard to tell from the posted photos but it probably isn't quite as good as it looks. I think it would go for a shooter price, perhaps $750-$800?

Thanks !!
I wasn't sure about it since the grip looks different. The person said that reserve price was $900. I'm glad you were able to help educate me on it. I've ordered some Luger books from Amazon but they haven't arrived yet. I guess even with books prices are a bit hard to gauge without some good experience. |

The grips look strange, but are actually a very high quality bakelite, much like the type used on byf 41 Lugers... I prefer my grips checkered, but these grips are very serviceable. I own a spare set of them.
