There are no major issues with this pistol. All the numbered parts are matching, it has a very good bore and it works. There is some pitting and loss of blueing. Only about 30% of the straw remains.

The two unit marks are from the same North Sea Fleet, so it stayed in the same area during it's Imperial career.

It is a well used gun that has been in two wars. There was an E/63 proofed Mauser mag [different serial number] in it when I bought it from the vet's sister, so that might have been considered an upgrade during WW II.
