Hi,

Still like that gun!

The barrels is crown/N proofed showing it was proofed in Germany before 1939 (when the proof changed to an eagle/N)..

The Bulgarian guns had the DWM scroll on the chamber and the Bulgarian crest on the toggle. The batch was imported in the 1960s by Interarms and some where sold unaltered, but others had their toggle markings defaced in order to conceal the fact that the guns had been imported from an Eastern-block country.

I guess someone in a not too distant past, gathered some parts and built this very entertaining shooter. It would be interesting to see how it performs with standard (and spiffed up) .30 luger rounds.

Shooting this gun as a semi-auto rifle should be fun, but I think attaching a stock to it may cause problems where you live.
