I can not see any pits, but Viggo offers sound advice if you find any. It looks like a nice near mint 99% Luger to me with the light machine marks you want to see in the byf Lugers. One can never tell absolute form any photo but this one sends no indicators to me that it is a re-blue. It is sad but true that these days the weight of expert opinion on the originality of a given firearms finish tend to be directly correlated to whether you are the seller or the buyer! I think you have a very nice example.
