Waffenbrik Bern

I recently was offered a Waffenbrik Bern by a dealer. It appeared about new including a deep rich finish. In two of the refernce books I have, the comment is made that this series of luger was salt blued and had a dull almost parkerized finish. If that is correct, this one must be a rework. Could that have been done by an arsenal? Would appreciate some knowledge about the'06 series.
