That problem could be what caused the development of this prototype to be abandoned... Since the current configuration of the bolt face appears to have been copied from a simple bolt action rifle design and is using opposing extractors.

That's what I was thinking... I wouldn't want to be in the shop when our designer had that "Holy C*#P" realization!
