1917 Luger questions Newbee

Hi Jay,

Welcome to the forum. You have a 1917 production Luger built by the gov't arsenal at Erfurt, and should be in 9mm.

8222 is the serial number and should be stamped on the front of the frame just below the barrel, and on the bottom of the barrel also. Several other small parts should be stamped 22 to corrilate with the last two numbers of the serial number.

The value depends on condition. It could range from $300 to $2000 depending on several factors. Can you post photos?
