Luger History Query

As part of the Gevena Convention, military personal who were forced to flee to a neutral country such as Switzerland, were interned for the duration of the war and disarmed. Many flyers with damaged aircraft of both sides, chose this option in Switzerland and Sweden during WW2. I would imagine that many of them, did manage to illegally get back into action.
