Hi Michael,
119th Infantry Regiment Machine Gun Company weapon #49. Early in WWI most Regiments had only one machine gun company. Later on they had 3 or 4 MG companies per Regt. Yours is an early marked to the first and only MG company. Does your Luger have a stock lug on the heel of the grip? It's possibly a 1908 1st Issue without a chamber date, not a commercial. Ron
