Gentlemen, Thank you all for your kind comments about my work. This holster came to me from George Anderson. With his assistance I was able to give it the facelift that was necessary to preserve it for another hundred years.
The only parts I had to change was the magazine pouch, salvaged from an original parts holster and a pull-up strap that I hand tie here in my shop. All of the other parts are the original holster.
The rest was simply a matter of cleaning up the leather parts, removing all the old thread and getting the magazine pouch to fit up properly. I used the proper size and color linen thread to stitch it up.

I thought the membership might enjoy seeing what can be done with a pretty distressed holster.

I was actuall pretty amazed myself at the transformation.
