Default Steinar

I answered a PM from Steinar, as he was a bit upset with me, telling him that perhaps I was wrong to use LF as a forum to express my hate for communist and communist China, but as a young man communism was the leading cause of death among young American males, I will never get over it, but on the same hand Tinker is right about my feeling of expressed hate toward Iran, as an Iranian American, and while I would never cause this country that I love harm, I do feel that we have not begin to see the trouble Iran can and will cause us.....confused, I need a new Luger to my collection to hug....

As I came to work, reading trough my post over a cup of coffee.. I realized that I may have been too hars towards someone I have considered a friend this morning. I do stand for what I wrote. But at the same time, I know feelings and memories stick deep.

Hope/think/believe that we have shaken hands Howard.

Hey guys,
Friendship means you can get really pissed off at each other and then show up for coffee as usual the next morning.
I didn't mean to start a stink with my thread, just report what I saw and thought was interesting.

The civility of this board is why it is one of the few I visit.

Pete, thanks.
Howard, all we have besides coffee, tea and beer is prune juice; pour you a cup?
Steinar, you Norwegians spend too much time drinking and not enough time with women making new Norwegians, otherwise they might give you a bigger spot on the map! <grin>

Steinar, and Howard... both of whom I consider friends... I want to thank you both for being able to publicly express yourself as gentlemen... People like the two of you (and many many others like you) are the reason that moderating this message board is such a pleasure... If the rest of the world got along as well as the active members of the Lugerforum, what a wonderful world it would be...

David, I know.. problem is I think, that our women up here in the north are too repulsed by our drinking, making it hard for us to choose between the two 'goods'.
John S, in lack of a set with two duel black powder pistols.. we just have to do our best to be gentlemen when ever there is a disagreement.

Howard, Accepting an apology is as important as offering one...Offering one and getting no response is not gentlemanly no matter what you drink. . Jerry Burney

Suit yourself. There is an old proverb, The weather changes but not people. I would guess it is truer than we might want to believe...Jerry Burney
